25-Dec-2007 - Helping in the Community - Alton School, Wandsworth
The Green Team are pleased to announce that following an appeal by one of our schools, we have donated a state of the art Karaoke System to them. Hopefully the pupils (and staff) at Alton School will use the chance to demonstrate their singing skills.

There are many educational and learning benefits using song and music (as well as lots of fun), including building self confidence in children. You never know, you might see them one-day on X-Factor.

The Green Team are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract for general grounds and garden maintenance at Saint Cecelia’s School, Wandsworth.

The Green Team have been awarded and accredited with the highly acclaimed ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Certification, this is no mean feat, requiring many months of hard work, intense scrutiny and revamping of business processes and procedures.

31-Aug-2007 - The Green Team Expands Isuzu Vehicle Fleet with New Tree Surgery Truck
The Green Team are very pleased to announce that we have taken delivery of our new Isuzu tree surgery truck. This 6.2 tonne truck has been specifically built to our own bespoke design and will be utilised by our growing arboriculture (tree surgery) division.

Immediate benefits include, environmentally friendly logistics by requiring fewer trips to our recycling depot during the day.

The Green Team are very pleased to be awarded the contract to re-instate the grounds at Harrowlands Hospital in Dorking. Harrowlands Hospital has been purchased by one of our current clients and they decided that The Green Team were the right choice for the job.

The grounds, untouched in over 18 months will require a major amount of work to restore them to the required high standard.

The contracts are to carry out general grounds and gardens maintenance, including, grass cutting, plant and shrub maintenance and weed control and leaf clearance.

The Green Team are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a contract to treat and eradicate a large amount of Japanese Knotweed in the Kingston area.

The Green Team are pleased to announce that we have placed an order for five new specially built Isuzu Trucks to replace our Ford Transit Vans. The bodies have been designed by us to ensure we can get the best use out of the trucks.

The Green Team move towards an environmentally friendly vehicle fleet. We are very pleased to announce that we have purchased a Dihatsu Hi-Jet van which runs on Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a mixture of propane and butane. When used as a vehicle fuel it is often referred to as autogas. The simple chemical make up of the gases ensures that they are clean burning.

31-Mar-2007 - New Plant and Machinery
The Green Team are pleased to announce that we have added and replaced a large portion of our grass cutting equipment.

We have replaced all our strimmers to ensure reliability for this coming year, purchased two new back pack blowers and two long reach hedge cutters.

We have also purchased two new Hayter cylinder mowers for wide area cutting (i.e. sports fields). These are the Hayter five cylinder decks and three cylinder decks.
31-Jan-2007 - All Saints School Select The Green Team for Playground and Sport Pitch Marking Works
The Green Team are pleased to announce that they have won the contract to supply and install a number of sports pitches and play / game markings on the hard surface playgrounds at All Saints School in Wimbledon.

We use the latest state-of-the-art thermoplastic line marking technology, this method is more durable and lasts much longer than normal paint and is self-cleaning under UV light. This method of marking is a much more cost effective solution for our clients.
